Hazel Yvonne Burston

Hazel was my cousin but in 1961 she also became my sister-in-law. She was a good friend and we spent a lot of time together, particularly bringing up our families. We shared many lovely holidays in Wales. At one time Hazel and Ken, Stan and I took turns on Sunday mornings. One of us would look after the children and make lunch so the other three could go to Church. Her faith and trust in Jesus was a big part of her life. Her home was a good place to be and we laughed a lot. In recent years it has been a privilege to take her to hospital appointments. I shall miss her very much.

I have very happy memories of my lovely friend, Hazel, we first met at Primary school and have kept in touch ever since, we have visited our long term friend Margaret Monroe (another school friend) in Canada. I will miss our chats.
