2 memories for James Johnson
Jim was a lovely man and I enjoyed our conversations with him and Heather at Mavis
All my memories of my grandad are good ones. when I was younger he'd take me and my sister for walks around his garden, he would always try and get us to try his tomatoes saying they were like no other tomatoes we would have ever tasted, I'm sure they were yummy but to this day I still don't like tomatoes ๐. you'd often find him stopping us from falling down the well too. he would often take us for a walk over the field to feed the horses polos that he would pull out his pocket, knowing we were a bit frightened but we felt safe because we were with Grandad. If we had been really good he would let us play Tetris on his Gameboy. We went on lots of family holidays together from Disney world to cruises, however my fondest memory of my grandad will always be picking the strawberries in his garden with him saying "don't eat them all Lucy, save some for me," then moments later he would pass me another handful of strawberries that he had picked. Watching my grandad become a great grandad will always be one of the greatest privileges in my life. He ALWAYS loved us no matter what. I'm so grateful to be Jim Johnson's granddaughter. Thank you for the memories, we love you Grandad. Don't worry we won't forget to 'shut that bloody door!' ๐๐ฅฒ๐
