On 9th June, Joan peacefully passed away at Hawthornes care home, Birkenshaw aged 91 years.

Beloved wife of the late Eric and loving sister of Kelvin and the late Tony. Special loving sister-in-law of Sandra and also of Winifred. A very dear Auntie and Great Auntie.

Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Joan’s life at St Columbus Catholic Church, Tong Street on Friday 4th July at 12pm, followed by a committal at Dewsbury Crematorium at 1.15pm.

Family flowers only by request, but if desired, donations in memory of Joan may be given to Alzheimer’s Society, a box will be made available at the service for this purpose.
