Lynne , you will be sadly missed by all of your friends from our schooldays. Your sense of humour and kindness shone through. We didn't see each other often but when we met there was that easy friendship that lifelong pals share. I will miss you. Say hello to Fraser if you see him

Lynne's sense of humour was legendary. She didn't deserve the ill-health that plagued her for the whole of the time that I knew her.

I am so sorry to hear that Lynne is no longer with us. What a remarkable woman. I could listen to Lynne for hours with her stories and her wealth of knowledge always astounded me. Lynne was always very supportive to me over the years and she would always stand up for what was right. I am thinking of you Jim, Bev and Jo and all your extended family at this very sad time. Love Clare

David Hardie (Jim)

Well Lynne we have come to the end of our journey, and whilst it’s not always been an easy road - we have travelled far and accomplished so much together. I thank you for our lovely daughters and the grandsons we are so proud of, and for standing by me through thick and thin, you really were my rock. I am so pleased that you are no longer suffering, and will love and miss you for the rest of my life. Love Jim

Miss you mum x I didn’t appreciate your humour, intellect or tenacity until now x You always fought for the underdog, and for what was right, my moral compass is high because of the way you and dad brought me up and the boys have that legacy and will not see an injustice done on my watch or yours x You were the most intelligent, perceptive and generous person ever and an amazing wordsmith xx Hope you are out of pain and somewhere you want to be Love you 😘
