3 memories for Nora Robb Batty
We shall all miss you Nora. You were a very thoughtful person and cared much for your family and friends. Rest in Peace.
Many Fond Memories of Nora. Now she is at peace and returned to her beloved area. She was a good laugh and always fun to visit when she was at Wakefield when she was Bright and active and always on the go and walking into Wakefield. I enjoyed to call down and visit and spend time with her and have a meal with her as I enjoyed her cooking , especially her Yorkshire pudding that was really a Pancake !!.
Charmingly eccentric - I remember her as full of life in her garden or driving around badly in her Mini with Frank deputised to work the windscreen wipers! My garden is stocked with beautiful plants begged from her collection- including rare bearded chocolate Irises. She was a dreadful cook with lumpy gravy - not a grandmother of comfort cooking- but she was such an amusing woman and would do anything for anyone.
